Can Blogging buy you a House, a Car and Guarantee you a Beautiful Wife?

Can blogging guarantee you all of these? A house, a car and a beautiful wife? You are a blogger and do you see these things coming your way? Hahaha! This has made me remember those days in primary school when my class 6 teacher wanted to find out what we intend becoming in future as going in for those ‘great’ jobs will guarantee us a house, a car and a beautiful wife at the end.

So he started roll by roll, with many of the class wanting to become doctors, teachers, nurses, engineers and several ‘prestigious’ works, it finally got to the turn of one Emmanuel K. Cudjoe (me).  I want to be ‘Alhaji Asuma Banda.’ The whole class burst into laughter. You might be wondering why ‘Alhaji Asuma Banda’ as well? Is it a profession or what?

The truth of the matter is that this Alhaji Asuma Banda was deemed as the richest in my country during the early 2002’s. He owned an Airplane and still owns it though, he has a quicklime business as well with several articular cars but the truth of the matter is that I never heard Alhaji Banda was a teacher nor a doctor but yet still is among the richest guy in Ghana.

So to cut everything short, he was a billionaire and that is what I am aiming for. Can blogging lead me to it? But you know what; this post wouldn’t be complete without me telling what my friend Little Johnny is going through current.

He found himself at an interview session and guess what happened.

OFFICER JOHNSON:  What is your name?

LITTLE JOHNNY:  M.P sir

LITTLE JOHNNY:  What’s that?

OFFICER JOHNSON:  Mental Problem

N.P (No Problem) Hahaha! Let me go the Little Johnny way and let move back to business as usual. Blogging is one thing which has really taken root in this era of  internet but what I want to know is; can blogging buy you a house, a car and guarantee you a beautiful wife?

Let’s have a look at some of the most successful bloggers in this world making the millions of dollars and obviously one name can’t be left off the hook. The name is Arianna Huffington with Huffingtonpost.com.

She is believed to worth around $25 million and these are worth which came through through her blog. As of 2006, a bank invested $5 million in her blog which at the end her blog was acquired by AOL for a tune around more than $300 million.

So the question therefore is what will push a bank to invest such a huge sum of money into a simple blog? I guess your guess is as good as mine. One thing is really certain, what I have realized is the fact that a blog which has quality to offer will obviously buy you a house, a car and guarantee you a beautiful wife at the end.

But what is that we see in this blogosphere? That isn’t the case at all. Many bloggers have nothing more to offer other than mediocre works which leads to nothing at the end.

If you really want blogging to buy you a house, a car and guarantee you a beautiful wife, delivering on quality and focusing on user engagements should be your hallmarks.

Your Turn

The baton has being handed to you now. What do make of this? Can blogging really buy you a house, a car and guarantee you a house? The ball is in your court now. Your thoughts by way of comments are verily welcomed.
